Charles H. Howard

Charles H. "Chuck" Howard, 49, of Cambridge died Saturday November 25, 2006 at his home. He was born November 6, 1957 in Cambridge , son of the late Herbert and Betty (Saft) Howard. Mr. Howard was a former employee at TW Metals for 22 years. He was a 1976 graduate of Cambridge High School where he played football and baseball, attended Marietta College where he also played football and baseball for the Pioneers. He was an avid Bobcat fan and enjoyed coaching and supporting local youth sports. A member of Eagles Aerie # 386 and V.F.W. post #2901 Men's Auxiliary. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by 2 sisters, Connie (Jim) DuQuinn of Florida and Linda (Ron)Holub of Senecaville; 1 Step-Son Benjamin Fowler of Cambridge; 1 Step-Daughter Constance Fowler of Cambridge; 2 nephews, Eric (Jen) Holub of Columbus and Justin Sharpe of Florida; 2 nieces, Amber (Fernando) Cuis of Florida and Kelly (Chris) Pollitt of Maryland; 1 great niece, Addison Pollitt, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Calling hours will be at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge on Tuesday November 28, 2006 from 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. with services to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Randolph White officiating. Eagles services will be at 6:45 p.m. Burial will be at Center Cemetery at a later date.
