Charles E. Marlatt, 44, of Lore City, passed away Friday (May 15, 2020) as a result of an accidental electrocution at his home.
He was born November 23, 1975 in Cambridge and was the son of Charles "Chuck" and Sandra (Longwell) Marlatt of Byesville.
Charles was self-employed. He was a good person with a big heart and a great driver!
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Loren Marlatt; maternal grandfather, Jack Longwell; paternal great grandmother, Lyda Kirkman; maternal great grandmother, Goldie Caldwell; three uncles, Ross Marlatt, and special uncles, "Bootem" and Bernie Kirkman.
In addition to his parents he is survived by two sons, Chandler Gibson of Caldwell, and Chance Marlatt Stoner of Zanesville; two daughters, Carson Gibbons of Cambridge, and Paige Stoner of Cambridge; four grandchildren; one sister, Bridget A. (John) Hamilton of Cambridge; one brother, Donald J. Marlatt (Selina Miller) of Byesville; paternal grandmother, Mabel "Jane" Marlatt of Byesville; maternal grandmother, Marjorie Jane (Larry Likes) of Cambridge; many friends, including special close friends, Linda Stillion of Old Washington, Ron Harris of Lore City, and Aaron Kirkman of Byesville.
Private services will be held for the family. Burial will be at a later date in West Lawn Cemetery, Newcomerstown.
