Charles H. Miller

Charles H. Miller, 91, of Birmingham, died Sunday, July 5th, 2020 at the Countryview  Assisted Living in Lore City.

He was born on April 24, 1929 in Orndoff, WV, son of the late Verdie Roston Miller and Maude Ethel (Hines) Miller.

Mr. Miller was a retired barber and farmer.

Charles was a US Army veteran, having served in the Korean War.  He was awarded the Purple Heart for his service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Cleo Miller,  Harry Wendell Miller, Waldo Clermont Miller, and Sylvester Paul "Jack" Miller.

He is survived by a son, Timothy Holt (& Rebecca) Miller of Alamogordo, NM; a daughter, Patricia Anne Sorrell of New Concord; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

Private services and burial are being held at the discretion of the family.  A memorial service will take place at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, and will be announced at a later date. Military services will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
