Charles David Ramsey, 87, of Quaker City, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.

Charles was born on October 11, 1937, in Belmont County, a son to the late Robert and Lucille (Steen) Ramsey.

Charles enjoyed steam shows and going out to eat. He worked as a mechanic and welder.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Brock and five sisters.

Charles is survived by his wife, Mary (McGee) Ramsey, whom he married in December of 1956, his son, John D. (Teresa) Ramsey of Barnesville, two daughters, Donna (Bill) Meyers of Belmont and Laura (Tim) Higgins of Cambridge, a son-in- law, Terry Brock of Quaker City, thirteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 11AM to 1PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Quaker City with the service to immediately follow with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Friends Cemetery.
