Charles D. Siegfried

Charles D. Siegfried, 79, of Cambridge, passed away Monday (January 18, 2021) at his home surrounded by family after a lengthy kidney disease illness.

He was born February 15, 1941 in Cambridge, son of the late Charles B. Siegfried and Elsie (Brock) Siegfried.

A 1959 graduate of Cambridge High School, Mr. Siegfried was employed by the Cambridge Jeffersonian , worked for twenty-seven years for Cambridge Machine and Supply, and was the owner & operator of Siegs Auto Body.  In addition, he was involved in The Big Muskie Project for Central Ohio Coal.  He was also employed by AB Williams Company of Winter Park FL and painted a car for Walt Disney and was employed for Valones Gulf FL.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping at DogWood Campground with his family and friends and special pet, Lucky.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Howell) Siegfried; three daughters, Cathy (Tom) Cale of Pleasant City, Elisa (Jay) Waite of Tampa FL, and Rochelle Valencia; two sons, Kurtis (Heather) Siegfried of Cambridge and Kristopher Siegfried of Cambridge; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his first wife, Patricia; his aunt, Gloria Siegfried of Cadiz; and numerous special friends.

Per his wishes, cremation will take place.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.
