Charles "Chuck" Wesley Ainsco Jr., 74, of Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at his home.
Charles was born on March 7, 1951, in McKeesport, PA, a son of the late Charles and Anna (King) Ainsco.
He was a graduate of McKeesport High School and later attended MATC for their Environmental Program and obtained his associate's degree from Pennsylvania Tech. He was a wastewater treatment operator for the state of Ohio. Charles was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He enjoyed fishing, going to shooting ranges, and was considered the photographer of the family. He was a jack of all trades. Charles loved nothing more than spending time with his family. Charles was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the United States Marine Corps.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Jennifer Holdren, and his sister, Denise Ukasik.
Charles is survived by his wife, Jean (Wilson) Ainsco, two sons, Brian (Anne) Ainsco of Toronto, ON, and Keith (Erin) Ainsco of Denver, CO, a daughter, Jessica Snyder of Cambridge, two sisters, Karen Yorchuck of McKeesport, PA, and Crisann Scanlon of McKeesport, PA. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Steven Ainsco, Miles Ainsco, Clara Ainsco, Morgan Holdren, Brenden Holdren, Braxton King, Joss Snyder, and Cori Snyder, and his great-grandchildren, Jenoah Holdren and Jordy Holdren.
Calling hours will be held Monday, April 28, 2025, from 11AM-1PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with the service to immediately follow with Pastor Kirk Gable officiating. Burial will follow at Northwood Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
