Cheryl J Forman

Cheryl J. Forman, 71, of Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at Ohio Health Southeastern Medical Center.

Cheryl was born on April 13, 1953, in Cambridge, a daughter of Michael Bakos and the late Bonnie (Anker) Bakos.

Cheryl had her bachelor's degree in education, teaching at St. Benedicts and Mid-East. She enjoyed traveling, cruising, flowers and gardening, and was very knowledgeable. Cheryl loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved being a grandmother and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Christ Our Light Parish.

In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Velma Anker, and her paternal grandparents, Mike and Mary Bakos.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, David Forman, who she shared 42 loving years of marriage with, her sons, Isaac (Christy) Forman of Strasburg, VA, and Ethan (Heather) Forman of Cambridge, her brother, Jim (Paula) Bakos of Byesville, five grandchildren, Ezra, Archer, Ellarose, Josie, and Silas, her nephews, Chris (Julie) Bakos, and Matt (Nicole) Bakos, and her great nephews, Braeden, Peyton, Nick, and Tony.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 4-7PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge, with the Mass of Christian Burial the following day, Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 11AM at Christ Our Light Parish in Cambridge with Father Nicholas Ginnetti officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at OhioHealth Southeastern Med and Emerald Pointe Nursing Home for the care provided to Cheryl for three years.
