Christopher Lett Andrew Stewart Logwood

Christopher Lett Andrew Stewart Logwood "Pugger", 54, went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2010. He was born August 26, 1956 in Cambridge, son of the late James Alvin Stewart Logwood and Barbara (Lett) Stewart Logwood. Chris graduated from Cambridge High School. He was employed in various occupations, such as operating his own cleaning service, employment as a truck driver, and he spent years as a security officer in Hilton Head SC. He was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed playing cards and barbequing. Above all else, he cherished spending time with his family and friends. Chris served in the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James F. Stewart Logwood and a granddaughter, Kaylee Wilson. He leaves behind three daughters, Misty Logwood (James Parks) of Springfield, Christina (Joe) Barnhart and Candace Logwood of Urbana; three sons, Christopher Logwood of Zanesville, Jeremy Logwood and Anthony Logwood of Urbana; two granddaughters, Makinsey Barnhart and Arianna Mitchell; and nine grandsons, Justin Logwood, Kyle Logwood, Jordan Kemp, Gregory Logwood, Brian Johnson, Dakota Johnson, Joey Barnhart, Aiden Mitchel and Jayden Ziegler. He will be missed by his sisters, Mrs. Barbara Earley, Mrs. Diana (Bill) Payton, Mrs. Brenda (Melvin) Blanchard, Mrs. Bethel Winston, Mrs. Veronica Rice all of Cambridge and Mrs. Phylis (Mike) Mack of Thornville; brothers, Charles (Rosalind) Logwood of Urbana, Joseph (Chrisy) Logwood of Cambridge, Timothy Logwood of Hilton Head SC and Gary (Sabrina) Logwood of Columbus. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, including Mrs. Shelly Logwood and long-time companion, Sandra Johnson. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Friday (October 15, 2010) at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, with military graveside services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
