Christopher Ryan Carpenter

Christopher Ryan Carpenter, 36, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, in Cambridge.

Christopher was born on February 21, 1986, in Glasgow, Kentucky, a son to Michael Wayne and Deborah Sue (Watson) Carpenter.

In his free time, Christopher enjoyed woodworking, fishing, swimming, Pokémon, football, baseball cards, as well as watching the Dallas Cowboys, playing sports with the kids, scratch off tickets and playing X-Box. He was a member of Freedom Worship Church and a Laborer at the Budget Inn.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wilford and Doris Carpenter, and his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Marie Watson.

Christopher is survived by his wife Maria (Calhoun) Carpenter, whom he married on February 23, 2017, his two sons, Bentley Stidom and Austin Stidom of the home, a daughter, Ava Thompson of the home, his parents, Michael and Deborah Carpenter of Cambridge, and his brother, Clarence Hickenbottom of Cambridge. Also left to cherish his memory are his eight sisters, Teresa Hill of Cambridge, Robin (Chris) Kinnan of Kimbolton, Angela Bell of Cambridge, Natalie Chrenchaw of Kentucky, Natasha Reinhart of Kentucky, Sonya (Eric) Handy of Kentucky, Crystal Carpenter of Kentucky, and Heather Jewel of Kentucky, his mother-in-law, Melody Paisley, his sisters-in-law, Tiffany Calhoun and Hannah Dingus, his friends, Steve Sealey and Mike Caldwell, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

A Memorial Service will be held at on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Freedom Worship Church..
