Christopher Ryan Hollins

Christopher Ryan Hollins, 35, of Cambridge, died Monday (January 5, 2015) in Miami FL. He was born January 1, 1980 in Cambridge, son of Jeri (Eltringham) Johnson. Mr. Hollins was a former employee of the General Restoration Corporation. He loved being with his children. He enjoyed mudding with four-wheelers and trucks He was preceded in death by a brother, John Hollins Jr.; and his grandmother, Helen Hollins. He is survived by his parents, Jeri and Frank Johnson, John L. Hollins Sr., and Philip and Christine Simpson; his children, Janelle Hollins and DeSean Hollins; two brothers, Craig (& Teibreigh) Hollins of Cambridge and Tye (& Brandi) Hollins of Cambridge; eight sisters, Nikki (& Jimmy) Binger of Cambridge, Ashley McManaway of Old Washington, Brandi (& Robert) St. Clair of Cambridge, Alexus Hollins of Cambridge, Shanda Simpson, Cheresa Simpson, Deidra Stevens, and Brandi Simpson; his grandparents, Jackie Kolometz of Zanesville and Natalie Simpson of Cambridge; his fiancée, Melissa Eldredge of Cambridge; and his beloved dog and best friend, Diamond. Visitation will be held Tuesday (January 20, 2015) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (January 21, 2015) at 1 p.m. with Pastor Vaughn Newsome officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
