Cindy Wells

Cindy "Ziggy" Lucas Wells, 57, of Cambridge, died Sunday (May 12, 2013) at Kindred Care of Cambridge. She was born August 3, 1955 in Cambridge, daughter of Joyce (Oakley) Lucas and the late George Lucas. Ms. Wells worked as a beautician at Reflections for many years. She was Presbyterian by faith. Ms. Wells enjoyed gardening, cooking, horseback riding, and crafts. She attended Cambridge High School and was a graduate of the Cambridge Beauty College. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a sister, Kelly Lucas; and a niece, Sara Jo Cross. She is survived by her mother, Joyce Lucas of Cambridge; two daughters, Patricia McCardy of Harrison AR and Lisa (& David) Rhyne of Lincolnton NC; a sister, Beth Cross of Cambridge; six grandchildren, Emily Heskett, Melissa Heskett, Cameron Botko, Nicholas Botko, Paige Botko, and Lizzy Rhyne; a niece, Ashlyn Kennedy; and two nephew, Seth Cross and Timmy Williams. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday (May 15, 2013) at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jim Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
