Clinton M. Cleek, 65, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (November 20, 2007) at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born on February 12, 1942 in Grundy VA, son of the late John Joseph Cleek and Edith (Hall) Cleek. Mr. Cleek was a retired production superintendent in the oil & gas industry. He was a member of the Byesville VFW. Mr. Cleek was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam Era. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Tallmadge and Haskel; and two sisters, Phyllis and Ruby. He leaves his wife, Teressa (Hogan) Cleek of the home, whom he married on February 27, 1974; a son, John (& Kara) Cleek of Senecaville; two daughters, Emily Cleek of Cambridge and Tina Sinnett of New Market MD; two brothers, Ron Cleek of New Philadelphia and Sam Cleek of Tennessee; two sisters, Rita Sabens of Indiana and Mildred of Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Stone and Victoria. Family and friends may call on Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday (November 23, 2007) at Northwood Cemetery, with Mark Beros officiating. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Guernsey Co. Veterans Council.
