Clyde W. Stevens Jr., 61, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (November 8, 2016) at his home. He was born July 16, 1955 in Cocoa Beach FL, son of Mary "Molly" (Mathews) Stevens-Stickler and the late Clyde W. Stevens Sr. Mr. Stevens was a fabricator with Fabri-Form for many years. He attended the Grace Baptist Church. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider, participating in many local charity bike rides. He received several awards at bike shows throughout his life. Mr. Stevens was a US Army veteran, having served in the 82 nd Airborne Division during the Vietnam War. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Stone; and a grandson, Zack Stone. He is survived by his wife, Judith "Judy" (Pontius) Stevens of the home; his mother, Mary "Molly" Stevens-Strickler of Cambridge; a daughter, Jamie (& Jeremie) Edwards of Cambridge; a brother, Scott (& Bonny) Stevens of El Paso TX; a sister, Valarie Martin of Quaker City; four grandchildren, Abby, Katie, Isabelle, and Ian Edwards; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers. Visitation will be held Friday (November 11, 2016) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. John Bell officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, at a later date, with military graveside services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
