Cole Ansen Grieves, 23, of Mount Vernon, died Thursday (November 1, 2007) in Cambridge. He was born on August 8, 1984 in Zanesville, son of Brenda (Thompson) Grieves Wolford and the late Brian Grieves. Mr. Grieves was a former employee of UPI of Mount Vernon. He was a 2002 Buckeye Trail High School and a member of FFA and 4-H. He enjoyed bull riding and rodeos. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Grieves. He leaves his mother and step-father, Brenda (Thompson) Grieves Wolford and Joe Wolford of Mount Vernon; two brothers, Brian Grieves of Claysville and Tony McDonald of Mount Vernon; a sister, Abby Thompson of Mount Vernon; his grandparents, Janet and Dale Roberts of Cambridge, George and Autumn Thompson of Byesville, and Charles Grieves of Claysville; and several aunts & uncles. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Tuesday (November 6, 2007) at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery.
