Colin Allan Mcbride

Colin Allan McBride, 28, of Galloway OH, passed away unexpectedly at Doctor's Hospital, Columbus. He was born January 21, 1985, son of Nadine McKimmie McBride of Galloway and Robert McBride of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, George and Jean McKimmie of Quaker City. Colin is survived by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Bertha McBride of Zanesville, and Marilyn McBride of Columbus; three aunts; three uncles; numerous cousins; and his beloved Boxer, Lemmy. He was a graduate of Hilliard Darby High School and employed with Kroger Company. Colin was a music lover and an accomplished percussionist. He was a student of Civil War history and visited Gettysburg several times in his short life. He will be remembered as a loving, affectionate young man with a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at Hilliard United Methodist Church, Warehouse 839 Church, 3691 Main Street, Hilliard OH on December 7th at 2 p.m. A service celebrating his life will be held in Quaker City OH at the family's convenience. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City.
