Connie Fabian Power, 69, of Cambridge, went home to be with the Lord on Friday (April 10, 2015). Connie was born Dec. 16, 1945, in Cambridge, daughter of the late Frank and Francis (Spratek) Fabian. Mrs. Power was a 1963 graduate of Buffalo High School, and she retired from March Electric in 1999. Connie loved and enjoyed her family, especially watching her grandchildren participate in numerous athletic endeavors and spending time at Seneca Lake. Her pastimes were also cooking and gardening. Connie was Catholic by faith. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by four brothers, Walter, Frank, Jim and Henry; and four sisters, Frannie Hutchison, Lucille Anderson, Lillian Lucas and Beverly Fitzgerald. Survivors include her husband, Joe, whom she married on Sept. 5,1964; a son, Doug (Tina) Power of Cambridge; a daughter, Michelle (Sean) Carmichael of Cambridge; a stepdaughter, Kim Power of Cambridge; three sisters, Isabelle Johnson of Marietta, Helen Wolfe of Salesville and Marcella Shepard of Cambridge; three grandchildren, Joe, Jenni and Jessi Carmichael; two stepgrandchildren, Aerica and Devin Burris; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday (April 13, 2015) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. A memorial service to follow with Father Robert Borer officiating.
