Courtney Dawn Dansby

Courtney Dawn Dansby, 32, of Columbus, suddenly and unexpectedly went to be with the angels on Friday (December 25, 2020).

She was born July 11, 1988 in Cambridge, daughter of Carla Dansby and the late Tyrone Hunter.

She was a 2006 graduate of Cambridge High School.

Courtney was known for her big heart and always helped people whenever she could.  She loved watching movies.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Mattie White.

She is survived by her mother, Carla Dansby of Reynoldsburg; two brothers, Cody Wilson and Braden Gerdau both of Reynoldsburg; a sister, Janessa Dansby of Canal Winchester; her grandmother, Peggy White; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Private services will be held for the family on Monday (January 4, 2021) at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, with Pastor Randolph White officiating.

Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Thorn-Black Funeral Home (139 S 9 ^th Street, Cambridge OH 43725) to assist the family with funeral expenses.
