Curtis Chester DeBerry, 67, of Cambridge, died Monday (February 20, 2017) at his home.
He was born December 12, 1949 in Akron, son of the late Curt Collins and Martha (DeBerry) Collins.
Mr. DeBerry had worked in the maintenance department at Mr. Lee's Restaurant and at the former Hills Department Store.
He attended the Stop Nine Church of Christ.
Mr. DeBerry was a 1970 graduate of Caldwell High School. He enjoyed fishing, reading, and collecting old movies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Lou DeBerry and Peggy Lynn Collins; and his grandparents, Chester Clyde DeBerry and Mildred Carol (Cormany) DeBerry.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (Barton) DeBerry; two daughters, Christie DeBerry of Cambridge and Amelia DeBerry of Gahanna; two sisters, Mildred Johnson and Karen Johnson both of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Leyla Metzdorf and Wyatt Metzdorf; and numerous nieces & nephews.
No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time.
