Dale E. Carpenter

Dale E. Carpenter, 60, of Quaker City, died Monday (July 19, 2021) at his home.

He was born October 11, 1960 in Barnesville, son of the late Keith Carpenter and Nancy (Gatrell) Carpenter.

A 1979 graduate of Buckeye Trail High School, Mr. Carpenter retired after thirty-four years with Local 18/District 6 Operating Engineers where he had worked as a journeyman/crane operator.

He is survived by his wife, April (Jones) Carpenter, whom he married May 16, 1987; a son, Kyle T. Carpenter of Quaker City; two daughters, Lindsey E. Carpenter of Cambridge and Emily (Bo) Engle of Zanesville; three brothers, David Carpenter, Dana Carpenter, and Duff Carpenter all of Quaker City; a sister, Susannah Carpenter of Quaker City; and five grandchildren, Bradley, Rylan, and Hailey Carpenter all of Quaker City, Myles Engle of Zanesville, and Rowyn Carpenter of Cambridge.

Visitation will be held Monday (July 26, 2021) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Karen Rawlins officiating.

Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City.
