Dale Lee Harding, 72, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (March 13, 2012) at his home. He was born November 12, 1939 in Cambridge, son of the late Eldred "Sam" Harding and Arlene (Anderson) Harding. Mr. Harding retired in 1980 from Randall-Textron after twenty-two years as a manufacturing manager in plastics. He was a member of the Cumberland Pilgrim Chapel. He was a graduate of Cambridge High School. He was a "Mr. Fix-It" and someone who always put family first, a loving husband and father. Mr. Harding was a US Army veteran, having served from 1962 to 1965. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie J. (Archer) Harding of the home, whom he married November 10, 1967; a son, Bryan D. Harding of Dublin; a brother, Larry E. (& Marilyn) Harding of Cambridge; a sister, Deborah D. Harding of Zanesville; four aunts; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Friday (March 16, 2012) at 10 a.m. with Pastors Greg Thacker, Bill Baker, and Ray Jarrell officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville, with military graveside services conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
