Daniel Owen Flynn

Daniel Owen Flynn, 64, of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at his home.

Daniel was born on June 20, 1960, in Rochester, NY, a son of the late Pat Flynn and Iona (Koetzle) Spencer.

Daniel worked as a New York State Corrections Officer and was CFO for Petta Industries. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles and was a member of a Motorcycle Club in New York. Daniel also enjoyed reading, traveling, shooting guns, hunting, and most of all being with family. Daniel was a United States Army Veteran. He was Catholic by Faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Shannon (Stevens) Flynn, whom he married March 17, 2021, three sons, Conor (Darien) Flynn of Senecaville, Jack Flynn of Corning, NY, and Brian (Erica) Flynn of Corning, NY, his stepson, Joey (Emily) Green of Quaker City, two daughters, Ryan (Derrick) Charles of Cross Junction, VA, and Alexandra (Matt) Fischer of Bellevue, PA, his stepdaughter, Leah (Justin) Green of North Myrtle Beach, SC, a brother, Tom (Beth) Flynn of Leeland, NC, and a sister, Kathleen (Tim) Duddleston of Germany. Also left to cherish his memory are his seven grandchildren, Parker, Maverick, Gentry, Jude, Harrison, Sullivan, and Eleanore, his grand-dogs, Squirrel, Maeve, and Fiona, and his best friends, Mark (Cathy) Fitzpatrick and Bob Ward.
