Daniel C. Kissinger, 32, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (December 3, 2014) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born September 23, 1982 in Zanesville, son of John P. Kissinger and Kristy (Hanson) Voorhies. Mr. Kissinger was a self-employed construction worker. He was a loving father who was devoted to his wife and sons. He was raised in the Church of God of Prophecy. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Patrick Kissinger Sr.; and an uncle, Kenny Hanson. He is survived by his wife, Kayla A. (Bebout) Kissinger; his father, John P. Kissinger of Tennessee; his mother & step-father, Kristy and Edwin C. Voorhies Jr. of Salesville; four sons, Brock, Damian, Lucas, and Jake Kissinger; four brothers, Greg (& Leanna) Kissinger of Cambridge, Kevin (& Crystal) Kissinger of Byesville, Corey (& Amanda) Voorhies of Cambridge, and Shane Kissinger of Georgia; his paternal grandmother, Maryann Kissinger; his maternal grandparents, William F. and Dolly Hanson of Freeport; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lori and Tony Perkins of Cambridge; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends, including his special friend, "Chunk". Visitation will be held Wednesday (December 10, 2014) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Center Cemetery.
