Darlene J. Urey

Darlene J. Urey, 49, of Cambridge, died Monday (November 27, 2017) at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born December 26, 1967 in Dover, daughter of Ralph Doherty and Arlene (Dean) Doherty of Cambridge. Mrs. Urey was a telemarketer and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Steven and Jeffery Doherty. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, George Urey, whom she married February 19, 1999; two sons, Brandon (& Heather) Clipner of Byesville and Kendall Urey (& Kalynn Snider) of Cambridge; a sister, Debbie Doherty of Cambridge; three step-grandchildren, Kathryn Croft, Hayley Galloway, and Madison Galloway all of Byesville; many nieces and nephews; a special friend, Molly Berry; and two-sisters-in-law, Becky Blackwell and Sheila Doherty. She was a loving mother who will be deeply missed by her husband and family. Visitation will be held Friday (December 1, 2017) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dave Glass officiating.
