David A. Bennett

David A. Bennett, 60, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (June 13, 2012) at his home. He was born June 1, 1952 in Ravenna, son of the late Conrad L. Bennett Sr. and Blanche L. (Christie) Bennett. Mr. Bennett worked in retail sales for various stores. He was a 1970 graduate of Cambridge High School. He cherished spending time with his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed the poetry of Walt Whitman. He loved to watch movies, and also to sing & dance - his motto for life was "Life's a Dance". In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Robert Bennett and Conrad Bennett Jr. He is survived by his wife, Jane Griffith; two sons, Jesse Bennett of Cambridge and Jason (& Brandy) Bennett of Sandusky; three daughters, Nikki (& Dale) Morris, Candace Bennett, and Lauren Bennett all of Cambridge; a step-son, Michael Thomas of Cambridge; a step-daughter, Kristy Griffith of Senecaville; a sister, Lolly (& Joe) Ravak of Byesville; and seven grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Sunday (June 17, 2012) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. with Jesse Bennett officiating.
