David Keith Fowler, 63, of Columbus, died Friday (July 20, 2007) at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. He was born on December 23, 1943 in Barnesville, son of the late Leslie John Fowler and Olive Irene (Layman) Fowler. Mr. Fowler was employed at Doubletree Guest Suites of Columbus. He was also a former employee of The Daily Jeffersonian. Mr. Fowler was a 1969 graduate of BGSU. He was a member of the King Avenue United Methodist Church of Columbus. He leaves a son, David (& Martha) Fowler of Salesville; a daughter, Katie (& Matt) Copeland of Belleville MI; two brothers, Lowell Fowler of Naples FL and Kenneth (& Marjorie) Fowler of Overland Park KS; three grandchildren, Nicholas Fowler, Jacob Fowler and Noah Copeland; his former wife and close friend, Sharron Elias; four nieces and a nephew. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Tuesday (July 24, 2007) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Clayton Coffey officiating. Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City, at a later date.
