David A. Jeffrey Jr.

David A. Jeffrey Jr., 34, of Cambridge, died Monday (November 2, 2015) at Southeastern Med. He was born September 9, 1981 in Cambridge, son of Vicky A. (Saylor) McCleese of Mt. Gilead and David A. Jeffrey Sr. of Cambridge. Mr. Jeffrey worked construction. He attended Cambridge High School. He enjoyed fishing and watching football. He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mary Saylor; and his paternal grandparents, John and Helen Jeffrey. In addition to his mother and father, he is survived by four sons, Noah Jeffrey, Davion Jeffrey, Roman Jeffrey, and Devaughnte Best all of Cambridge; a sister, Teena Gravely of Cambridge; his maternal grandfather, Richmond Saylor of Cambridge; three nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and his two close friends, Kevin Cooley and Robert Staats. Visitation will be held Wednesday (November 11, 2015) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. No funeral services will be held at this time.
