David A. Jeffrey Sr.

David A. Jeffrey Sr., 61, of Cambridge, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday (April 27, 2019). He passed away after a battle with cancer.

He was born October 6, 1957 in Cambridge, son of the late John and Helen (North) Jeffrey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, David Jr., and a sister, Shirley.

He is survived by a daughter, Teena Jeffrey; seven grandsons, Tony, Deshaun, TraVon, Davion, Roman, Noah, and Devaughte; a great-granddaughter, Paizley; his many siblings, Margaret, Ruth, Patricia, John, Gary, Sam (& Nancy), Don, Homer, Larry (& Linda), Steve, Paul, and Jim; several nieces and nephews; his fiancée, Teresa Gombeda and her family; and a close friend, Shirley.

Visitation will be held Friday (May 3, 2019) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Bell officiating.

Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
