David D. Moody, 80, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (October 15, 2013) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born October 15, 1933 in Lawton WV, son of the late Everett Moody and Mary (Irvin) Moody. Mr. Moody was a factory worker for the candy manufacturing industry. He was a US Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sadie Gwinn; and two brothers, Phillip and Shelby. He is survived by his wife, Leona (Rowe) Moody of the home, whom he married in 1960; a step-son, Franklin Estep Jr. of Cambridge; two step-daughters, Marsha M. McClure and Annette L. Owen; four sisters, Juanita McGinnis, Barbara Harrah, Glenna Dunbar, and Marie Biggs; and many nieces & nephews. No calling hours or funeral services will be observed.
