David L. Starr, 64, of Quaker City, died Friday (March 6, 2015) at his home. He was born March 10, 1950 in Barnesville, son of the late Rodney Starr and Florence G. (Betts) Starr. Mr. Starr was a self-employed farm hand. He earned his bachelor's degree in agriculture from the University of Wyoming. He was always there to help his friends and anyone in need. He will be remembered for his smiling face. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Mark Starr, Roy Neil Starr, and Roger Starr. He is survived by two sons, Mark Laban Starr and Jason Starr Dellenbach both of Casper WY; a daughter, Nichole (& Danny) Spurgin of Casper WY; a brother, Franklin (& JoEllen) Starr of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Marcus Spurgin and Caden Spurgin; and his former wife, Ann Dellenbach of Casper WY. Visitation will be held Monday (March 16, 2015) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where a memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.
