Dayle M. Delong

Dayle M. DeLong, 45, of Salesville, passed away unexpectedly from an apparent heart attack on Thursday (September 28, 2017) at his home.

He was born January 4, 1972 in Cambridge, son of Mona (Stephen) DeLong and the late Guy DeLong.

Dayle was a graduate of Buckeye Trail High School and Methodist by faith.

He was formerly employed at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Darren and David.

He leaves his wife, Shawna; his mother, Mona DeLong of Salesville; two children, Paige of Pennsylvania and Greyson of Parkersburg; three brothers, Doug (& Rhonda) DeLong of Cambridge, Darryl (& Sandy) DeLong of Salesville, and Dennis (& Susan) DeLong of Senecaville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Private services were held for the family at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, with burial following at Friends Cemetery.
