Debora Diane Hursey

Debora Diane (McMasters) Hursey, 64, of Beverly, went to be with her lord and savior on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 17, 1957, in Dennison, daughter of the late Elmer W. and Mary F. (Shaw) McMasters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Conlin.

Deborah was a lifelong homemaker.

She was a 1975 graduate of Newcomerstown High School.

Debora loved to fish, ride motorcycles ,and spend as much time as possible with her grandkids, children and friends. Most of all, Debora was a mother and friend to everyone she ever met. She loved hugs and sharing her awesome spirit with everyone.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Hursey, whom she married on April 8, 1978; a son, John (& Pamela) Hursey II of Antrim; a daughter, Diana Hursey of Byesville; a brother, Randy McMasters of Urichsville; five grandchildren, Christopher Hursey, Shane Hursey, Jarred Porter, Gavin Hursey and Matthew Burch; many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Thorn-Black Funeral Home in Cambridge is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be held Friday, October, 8, 2021, from 11 am to 1pm, with funeral services to follow the visitation at 1pm, at the funeral home, with Pastor Nelson Miller officiating.

Burial will follow at North Salem Cemetery.
