Deborah "Debbie" Sue Harper

Deborah Sue "Debbie" Harper, 67, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (July 14, 2021) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

She was born September 8, 1953 in Canton, daughter of Helen (Laughman) Fogle and the late John Carter.

A 1971 graduate of Zane Trace High School, Mrs. Harper was a lifelong homemaker.

She enjoyed mowing grass, 4-wheeling, traveling, and gambling.  She loved family get-togethers and cherished spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, David D. "Dave" Harper, who died May 5, 2013.  They were married November 4, 1994.  Also deceased is a brother, Mike Carter.

She is survived by her mother, Helen Fogle of Old Washington; three sons, Jeremy (Heidi) Harper of Zanesville, Justin Harper of Cambridge, and Bo (Jonniesue) Harper of Cambridge; three daughters, Michelle (Jason) Baker of Zanesville, Jessica Fulton of Caldwell, and Janelle (Barny) Etcher of Cambridge; five sisters, Jan (Danny) Crawford of Cambridge, Kathy (Tim) Jones of Cambridge, Pam (Frank) Yakupcak of Cumberland, Pat Douglas of Cambridge, and Theresa (Danny) Morrill of Cambridge; sixteen grandchildren, Lorine, Zak, Austin, Kierston, Logan, Dalton, Marley, Gavin, Keira, Dustin, Griffin, Morgan, Kamee, Bo, Shae, and Carter; many nieces & nephews; and her beloved dog, Bella.

Visitation will be held Monday (July 19, 2021) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge.

No funeral services will be held at this time.
