Debra Renea Black

Debra Renea Black, 67, of Byesville passed away Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Ohio Health Southeastern Medical Center.

Debra was born January 4, 1959, in Enon, Ohio, a daughter to the late Jackie O. and Marilyn (Pontius) Black.

She graduated in 1977 from Meadowbrook High School. Debra was a member of the Cambridge VFW Auxiliary and she enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jim Black.

She is survived by her daughter, Holly Krise of Byesville; three brothers, Terry (& Sandy) Milner of Caldwell, Butch Black of Mt. Vernon, and Kevin (& Heidi) Black of Byesville; two sisters, Barb (& Sonny) Stafford of Derwent and Nanette (& Forest) Gano of Kimbolton; and her grandchild, Kolten Davis of Byesville.

Private family services will be held with a burial at Buffalo Cemetery at a later date.
