Debra J Flood, 73, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at her home.
Debra was born October 2, 1952, in Barnesville, a daughter to the late Richard and Dolores (Bickford) Powell.
Debra graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1970 and worked as a Therapeutic Program Worker for Summit Behavior. She attended Open Arms Community Church in Hamilton and enjoyed baking, cooking, shopping, watching her shows, going on trips with her friends, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and her grandpups.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her son, Chad (& Melissa) Flood of Hamilton; her daughter, Courtney (& John) Charles of Middletown; two brothers, Jim (& Carla) Powell of Quaker City and Richard (& Debbie) Powell of Whigville; four grandchildren, Austin (& Jodie), Drake (& Kayla), Ava and Xavier; and two great- grandchildren, Drakon and Aryiella.
Visitation will be held at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Quaker City, Friday, April 3, 2026, from 11 AM to 1PM with service to begin at 1PM. Burial will take place at Batesville Cemetery.
