Debra Lynn Walker, 71, of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, at her home. Debra was born on May 12, 1953, in Cambridge, a daughter to the late John Thomas Vermillion and Thelma Gertrude (Stevens) Vermillion. Debra was a 1971 graduate of Cambridge High School. She worked at Deans Coffee Shop, Lodge Coffee, March Electric, Salt Fork, and retired from NFI. Debra enjoyed bingo, sitting at her kitchen table, drinking coffee, visiting with family and friends, listening to country music, and watching the Hallmark Channel. Debra's biggest joy was her grandkids and great grandkids. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and Eagles. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Tammy Leigh, her siblings, Clyde Patrick, Jean Willey, Juanita Meighen, Ruby Rowen, Mariah Messenger, Diane Steele, and her infant brother, William, and her son-in-law, Bruce Sichina. Debra is survived by her spouse of 54 years, Gordon Walker Sr., whom she married on April 24, 1971; her children, Toni (Tim) Lowry of Lore City, Tara Sichina of Cambridge, Tracy Walker of Byesville, and Gordon (Helen) Walker Jr. of Cambridge and her siblings, Kathy (John) Ingram, Karen Ogle, and Paul (Martha) Vermillion. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandkids, Kelsey (Steven) Christie, Paige Sichina, Zane Lowry, Corbin Sichina, and Spencer Mapel, and her great grandkids, Easton Christie, Blakely Sichina, and Emilia Christie. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 11AM-2PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with a graveside service to follow at Northwood Cemetery.
