Decatur Miller Jr.

Decatur Miller Jr., 85, of Lore City, passed away Friday (January 21, 2022) at Embassy of Cambridge where he received good care, kindness, and respect.

He was born October 8, 1936 in Cambridge, son of the late Decatur Miller Sr. and Margurete (Wells) Miller.

Mr. Miller was a brick mason by trade.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a life member of the VFW Post 8040 in Buffalo.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita (Felton) Miller; an infant brother, Daniel; a brother, Robert Miller; a sister, Rosalie Todd; and several of his and Juanita's family.

He leaves to cherish his memory three children – daughter, Chrystal; and sons, Michael and Timothy Miller; his sisters, Anna Marie Gibbons of Florida, Shirley Tarr of Florida, and Joann (Howard) Shreve Sr. of Cambridge; a brother, David (Chris) Miller of Nashport; a close friend and neighbor, Jim (Linda) Moore; and many friends and family members of his and Juanita's.

No calling hours will be observed.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.
