Delores A. Davis

Delores A. Davis, 73, of Cambridge, died Thursday (November 30, 2017) at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born February 6, 1944 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Jack and Mattie Mae (Hogan) White. Delores retired from E.G. Smith and Centria. She was a member of the St. Paul CME Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Tabler and Diane Smith. She is survived by a son, Kevin Davis (& Toni Wilson) of Cambridge; three daughters, Teresa Davis (& Shawn) of Cambridge, Kecia (& Eric) Rice of Kansas, and Nicole Davis (& Andy) of Cambridge; five brothers, David White of Cambridge, John (& Sherry) White of Durham NC, Jack White of Arlington VA, Jerry White of Columbia SC, and Randolph White of Cambridge; seven sisters, Connie White of Cambridge, Christine Henderson of Flint MI, Marsha (& James) Martin of Marion, Peggy White of Cambridge, Linda Todd of Cambridge, Wanda Willett of Zanesville, and Carolyn White of Cambridge; seven grandchildren, Josh, Jordan, Erica, Byron, Tamara, Isaiah, and Kendrik; nine great-grandchildren; many, many nieces and nephews; and her special friend, "Big Sister" Blanche Stewart. Visitation will be held Monday (December 4, 2017) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Tuesday (December 5, 2017) at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
