Deloris A. Balik

Deloris Ann (Huntsman) Balik, 68, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully on Tuesday (September 20, 2016), surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 11, 1948 in Mansfield, OH. Deloris enjoyed following her grandchildren and their sports activities. She enjoyed going to craft shows, especially wherever Jen Resor was. She enjoyed visiting one of her favorite shops, Homestead Gatherings, and filled her house with all of their beautiful things. She enjoyed eating at many favorite restaurants in town. She loved flowers and planting them. She loved sitting on the front and back porch, having dinner with her husband. She also loved sitting on the swing at the family farm. Deloris was self-employed - her and her daughter, Paula, shared a joy in cleaning and cleaned many businesses and homes. She became very close to all her clients and they became a part of her extended family. She will be sadly missed by all, but will be a guardian angel to all of us. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Huntsman, and her mother, Helen Huntsman. She is survived by her loving husband of forty-nine years, Andrew Balik; two loving daughters, Paula (& Jud) Cline of Cambridge and Krista Balik of Cambridge; her grandchildren who were the center of her life, Tanner Balik, Brock Cline, and Jordan Sivard; a sister, RexAnn (& Doug) Daugherty of Cambridge; and a brother, Rex Huntsman of Cambridge. Following her wishes, no calling hours or funeral services will be observed. A celebration of life will be held Saturday (September 24, 2016) at 2 p.m. at the family's farm near Kipling (62621 Leatherwood Road, Kipling OH). Flowers sent to the family for the celebration will be gratefully accepted. The family will fill the place with a lot of flowers, family, friends, love, music, memories, and food.
