Deloris Tovornik

Deloris (Gray) Tovornik, 64, of Guernsey County, formerly of Akron, passed away suddenly Sunday (July 5, 2015) She was born December 22, 1950 in Akron and was the daughter of the late Roger and Vernie ( Mills ) Gray. Mrs. Tovornik was a registered nurse and had previously been the Nursing Director at the former Bell Nursing Home. She was a graduate of North High School, attended Akron University and Kent State then graduated from Belmont Technical College. She loved hummingbirds and cats and was a former member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son Charles Bever. She is survived by her husband Michael Tovornik whom she married September 23, 2000; mother-in-law Gloria Bastian Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday (July 9th) at Flatridge Cemetery, Knox Township with Fr. Robert Borer officiating.
