Dennis William Mccarthy

Dennis William McCarthy, 63, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (March 3, 2021) at Select Specialty East Hospital, Columbus, due to a series of complications following surgery in November of last year.

He was born June 15, 1957 in Cleveland, son of the late Howard J. McCarthy and Mary L. (Joy) McCarthy.

Dennis lived at the Cambridge Developmental Center for many years and later lived at the ResCare facility on Coventry Drive.

He is survived by his brother, James F. (Mary) McCarthy of Cleveland; his sister, Christine M. Hrdy of Cleveland; his nieces and nephews, Sean, Brendan, Melody, Neil, and Gloria, a great-nephew, Colin; and a great-niece, Riley.

Private services will be held for his family and caregivers at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge.

Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, at a later date.
