Dessie Mae Todd

Dessie Mae Todd, 71, of Troy and formerly of Cambridge, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday (March 10, 2011) to be with her Heavenly Father. Dessie was born on April 4, 1939 in Byesville, daughter of William Walker and Goldie Mason. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Todd Thompson and Orin Ashby. She is survived by three daughters, Beverly (Rusty) Thompson, Robin (Michael) Corcoran, and Tracy (Brad) Miller; a son, Herschel (Michelle) Todd; nine grandchildren, Ryan Thompson, Misty Moore, Joshua and Kirk Miller, Matthew Roberts, Cossandra Kaiser, Herschel, Beverly, and Mary Todd; three great-grandchildren, Jace Moore, Logan Spangler, and Aden Todd; four brothers, Hank Walker, John Walker, Bill Walker, and Tommy Noland; and one sister, Janie Likes. Per Dessie's wishes, there will be no calling hours or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Dessie's name to the American Cancer Society.
