Diane Kay Holub, 68, of Carrollton and formerly of Byesville, passed away Friday (March 2, 2018) at the Country View Manor Health Care Center in Carrollton.
She was born September 28, 1949, in Byesville, daughter of the late George Holub and Margaret (Kostelnik) Holub.
Diane was also preceded in death by a very special friend, Ray Hayhurst.
She attended the Golden Rule School in Byesville, and worked at the GNC Workshop for almost sixty years.
Diane enjoyed participating in Special Olympics and she loved bowling. She was a cheerleader for the Golden Rule Eagles basketball team. She loved to wear jewelry and she had a Yorkie that she cared for deeply and loved spending time with, named Teddy.
Diane is survived by two sisters, Shirley (& Carl) Beynon of Cambridge and Joleen (& James) Smithkey of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday (March 6, 2018) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Yvonne Matus officiating.
Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
