Diane Marie Pennell

Diane Marie Pennell, 46, of Cambridge passed away Wednesday April 9, 2008 at Genesis Health Care, Zanesville. She was born April 16, 1961 in Cambridge, daughter of Craig G. and Eileen (Ross) Schrimpf of Cambridge. Mrs. Pennell was currently employed at Cambridge City Schools as an executive secretary for 27 years. She was a 1979 graduate of Cambridge High School, and a graduate of Buffalo Career Center and was Protestant by faith. Diane enjoyed several trips to Las Vegas with her family. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband, Brent Pennell whom she married July 28, 1990; one daughter, Kelly Rochester of Cambridge; two sisters, Karen (David) Babka of Hughesville, Md.; Lisa (Dave) Kulp of Hilliard, Ohio; two nieces and one nephew; mother-in-law Ellen (Fred) Propp of Zanesville; several aunts, uncles. Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge where services will be on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Cain officiating.
