Dixie Ilene (Riley) Heddleson

Dixie Ilene (Riley) Heddleson, 85, of Cambridge, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023.

Dixie was born December 18, 1937, in Cambridge, Ohio, a daughter to the late Fred and Alice (Headley) Riley.

She was a devoted Christian and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading, spending time with her grandchildren, and praising Jesus.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James W Heddleson whom she married February 23, 1957, and who passed January 12, 2017, her brother Dale, and four sisters, Dorothy, Lillie, Junie, and Norma.

Dixie is survived by her two sons Jay E. (& Jean) Heddleson and Glenn Edwin Heddleson, both of Cambridge, two brothers, Brody Riley of California and Steve (& Donna) Riley of Cambridge, two sisters, Peggy Moose and Linda Volz, both of Cambridge, two grandchildren, Heidi Bowling of Westerville and Kadi (Tyler) Love of Cambridge, five great- grandchildren, Zea, Cooper, Cassius, Arya, and Eric, along with several nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed.

Private funeral services were held for the family with burial at Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge. Pastor Mark Slay officiated.
