Doloris L. Sarchet

Doloris L. Sarchet, 82, of Cambridge, died Thursday (December 18, 2014) at her home. She was born December 13, 1932, daughter of the late Earl Hamilton and Mamie (McWilliams) Whitcraft-Perry. Mrs. Sarchet was a line worker at Champion Spark Plug and also a homemaker. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and a member of the church's Care Crew. Mrs. Sarchet was a 1950 graduate of Cambridge High School. She loved to read and spend time with her granddaughters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Sarchet; a brother, Leo Hamilton; and a sister, Barbara Jackson. She is survived by a son, Scott Sarchet of Cambridge; two granddaughters, Kerrington and Remmington Kennedy-Sarchet; and a special friend, Ramona St. Clair of Cambridge. Visitation will be held Tuesday (December 23, 2014) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
