Donald Dale Danford, 91, of Cambridge, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Grant Medical Center.
Donlad was born on June 27, 1934, in Cambridge, a son of the later Robert and Della (bates) Danford.
Donald was a 1952 graduate of Cambridge High School and worked as a TV Repair Man. He loved spending time with his grandkids and family. Donald enjoyed RC Planes, riding motorcycles, staining glass, fishing, Cambridge Glass, games and puzzles on the computer, antiques, and oil paintings. He also built and repaired computers, electric and gas bikes. Donald was a United States Army Veteran, having served from 1953-1956.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Eloise (Harding) Danford, a daughter, Dee Knight, a grandson, James Danford Stillion, and his brother, Bob Danford, and his sister-in-law, Jean Danford.
Don is survived by his son, Donny Danford of Cambridge, two daughters, Rebecca Stillion of Cambridge and Denise Danford of Cambridge, his grandchildren, Willy (Miranda) Thompson, Misty (Nick) Burlingame, Ben Thompson, Tyler Stillion, and Gracie Danford, and his three great grandchildren, Andrew, Aidan, and Aubrey.
Visitation will take place Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 11AM to 1PM at Thorn- Black Funeral Home in Cambridge, with service to start at 1PM with Pastor Randolph White officiating. Burial to follow at Northwood Cemetery Mausoleum with military services by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
