Donald Nelson Heskett Jr.

Donald Nelson Heskett Jr., 37, of Cambridge, died Thursday (April 1, 2010) after a battle with cancer. He was born April 26, 1972 in Cambridge, son of Donald Heskett Sr. and Marcelline (Ice) Hall. He attended Cambridge High School. He enjoyed fishing and being surrounded by his family & friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Francis C. Ice and Raymond R. Heskett I; his grandmother, Emma Margarette Ice; and his aunts & uncles, Kitty Casey, Jack Heskett, James D. Phillips & Delores Jean Phillips. He is survived by his wife, Lori (Feldner) Heskett; two children, Katie and David; his mother & step-father, Marcelline and Ronny Hall of Zanesville; his father, Donald Heskett Sr. of Cambridge; a sister, Virginia Lee Heskett Carner of Florida; a brother, Raymond (& Carla) Heskett of Cambridge; several half-brothers, half-sisters, step-brothers and step-sisters; his nieces and nephews, David, Amber, April, Mack, Emily, Melissa, Jacob and Frank Heskett; several half-nieces, half-nephews, step-nieces and step-nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his grandmother, Dorothy Heskett, whom he loved very much. Family and friends may call on Tuesday (April 6, 2010) from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 8 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, at a later date.
