Donald E. Huebner, 70, of Quaker City, died Thursday (June 13, 2019) at his home.

He was born June 7, 1949 in Sidney, son of the late Charles Huebner and Genevieve (Johnston) Huebner.

Mr. Huebner worked for seventeen years with the Pepsi Corporation and then retired from the Dana Corporation of Caldwell after thirty years as a tool & die maker. He had also worked as an STNA at the Beacon House of St. Clairsville for several years.

He was an endowment member of the NRA, a member of the Sons of American Legion Post 578, and a member of the Batesville Legion Riders Post 578.

Mr. Huebner was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Barnesville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Charleen Zeigler and Amy Bolmowski.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Elizabeth (Frederick) Huebner, whom he married June 8, 1968; two sons, Kermit (Christina) Huebner of Dayton and Michael Huebner (Kayla Brown) of Temperanceville; two brothers, Charles Huebner and John Huebner both of Wapakoneta; two sisters, Susan Cole and Aileen (Pat) Merricle both of Wapakoneta; six grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah, and Jacob Huebner all of Dayton, and Cole (Lynzie Erickson), Harlie, and Madison Huebner all of Barnesville; a step-grandson, Jason Brown of Temperanceville; and a brother-in-law, David Zeigler of Wapakoneta.
