Donald Eugene Jirles

Donald Eugene Jirles, 69, of Lore City, died Tuesday (December 15, 2020) at his home.

He was born January 9, 1951 in Guernsey County, son of the late Lillie Bell (Waers) Jirles and Donald Anderson Jirles.

Mr. Jirles had worked for the Guernsey County Highway Department for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Donald Lee Moore; and a nephew, Jason Jirles.

He is survived by his significant other, Reginna Whitaker of Lore City; a son, Stacy Jirles of Gasaway WV; three daughters, Savanna, Shelby, and Kayla Whitaker; a brother, David Jirles of Cambridge; four nieces, Chia Jirles, Tiffany Dudley Leigh Anna Collins, and Macey Collins; and three nephews, Kyle Jirles, David Jirles, and Isaac Porter.

Keeping with his wishes, Mr. Jirles donated his body to the Ohio State University Division of Anatomy.  No calling hours will be observed.  No funeral services will be held at this time.  A birthday celebration will be held later at the Park Circle, Cambridge.
