Donald Kupchick

Donald T. Kupchick Jr. 78, of Cambridge, passed away peacefully Tuesday (July 26, 2016) at his home, in his sleep. Donald Jr. was born January 16, 1938 in Cleveland, to the late Donald T. (Duke) Sr. and Merle Cora (Raker) Kupchick. Donald Jr. served six years in the United States Navy Reserves. He was Catholic by faith and a member of the American Legion. Donald Jr. enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, hunting, fishing, knife making, flea markets and frog collecting with Joni. Don's nickname was "Froggy". In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Joseph V. Papp. Donald Jr. is survived by his fiancée of thirty-two years, Joni Burns of Cambridge and Joni's family: Rhonda (Burns) Smith, Robert, Perry, Cindy, Tina and Rex Burns; a sister, Nancy Merle (Kupchick) Papp of Creston; a nephew, John M. (Rebecca) Papp of Wooster; a niece, Sandra (Chris) Norton of Burbank; a nephew, Steven D. (Janell) Papp of Piqua; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and many friends. Graveside memorial services and burial will be held Friday (November 18, 2016) at 11 a.m. at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, with Jim Gibson from the Guernsey County Veterans Council officiating.
